About MIDIamore
MIDIamore is the company of Espen Brynildsen, a skilled musician, trainer and consultant working with music and technology.
MIDI - Musical Instrument Digital Interface
amore - Italian, meaning love
MIDIamore is about the love and passion for everything MIDI. Music technology has become accessible to an increasing group of people thanks to lower prices, better software and the fact that more people have a computer in their home or at work. Software, audio interfaces, control surfaces and MIDI interfaces are all part of the modern music recording studio, but it’s not always easy to understand how things work, how to get the most out of your equipment and software or how to fix things when they stop working. This is where MIDIamore can assist with training, installation and good sound advice. We teach you how to use software from Apple, Sony, Steinberg, Ableton, Native Instruments and many more. About Espen Brynildsen
Espen’s interest for music and computers started back in 1987 when he bought an Atari ST 512 and started plaing around with Emagic Notator (currently known as Apple Logic Pro) and and a range of synthesizers. He has always had a passion for anything to do with technology. He has many years experience in retail and B2B sales and support, distribution and tutoring. His main focus is on music, software, hardware and computers.
The name of this site is a play on Espens skills, MIDI and more (or the love for MIDI). Don’t let his nickname “kurzweilfreak” fool you, as Espen’s knowledge stretches way beyond Kurzweil K2600. He has worked as a distributor for Kurzweil, Akai, M-Audio, Presonus and many other brands. He has had his own business since 2000 teaching people how to utilise computers, software and hardware to create music. He is passionate about making the technology accessible to as many people as possible, and to teach advanced technology in a simple way. His strong points are; outstanding troubleshooting skills, wide knowledge of software/hardware and excellent communication with focus on the client’s level of knowledge.
